Intercultural Communicative Competence (BASIC Model) Assessment Scale

This questionnaire is designed based on the BASIC
It consists of 8 dimensions with 5 questions for each dimension, totaling 40 questions.
A 5?point Likert positive scoring system is adopted:
1 = Strongly Disagree
2 = Disagree
3 = Neutral
4 = Agree
5 = Strongly Agree
 
There are no right or wrong answers. Please respond according to your real?life situation.
Dimension 1:

Display of respect 

Basic communicative literacy of respecting customs of different cultures, embracing cultural differences, behaving appropriately and taking initiative to avoid cultural offense in cross?cultural communication.
1. When communicating with people from different cultures, I will consciously respect their customs and traditions.
2. I will not belittle or depreciate the lifestyles of other cultural groups.
